U.S. sees decline in private-sector layoffs

The slowing pace of U.S. job losses marks an improvement, but an end to rising unemployment is not yet in sight, experts said. Last month, private employers eliminated 298,000 jobs, the fewest per month since September 2008, said payroll-processing company Automatic Data Processing.
