Lawyers often struggle with insomnia, but rather than fighting the tide, it's usually best to make the most of your white nights, writes Debra L. Bruce. Keep a pen and paper by the bed so you can jot down ideas that come to you while you stare at the ceiling, or simply get out of bed and start work. "Through the miracle of technology, I can get up and take care of that work that I am worried about getting done, even in the middle of the night," Bruce writes. "Perhaps afterwards I can sleep late because I've already accomplished so much."
