Operations at Valero Energy's ethanol plant in Linden, Ind., could normalize within the next few weeks, spokesman Bill Day said. The company suspended operations at the plant in June, along with another biorefinery in Albion, Neb., because of narrowing operational margins brought about by high feedstock costs. "This was more of a localized effect of high corn prices. The timing was kind of bad, but we knew we'd get through it," Day said.
