$1.2B Pa.-N.J. transmission line project clears court challenge

Construction of a $1.2 billion power line through the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in New Jersey can proceed after a federal judge rejected a challenge by environmental groups. The 145-mile line will run from PPL's power plant in Salem Township, Pa., to a substation near Newark, N.J. The line is slated to be in service in 2015.
