Ace Hardware's geolocated mobile coupon trial is a success

In a trial run, Ace Hardware found that geolocated mobile coupons generated a 49% redemption rate and much larger shopping baskets for users who opted in. The trial was one of several that the Mobile Marketing Association is running with major retailers, which trace coupon usage from discovery to redemption.
