Airlines, other groups develop pilot-monitoring workshop

Airlines have joined labor unions and regulators to establish the Active Pilot Monitoring workshop and help pilots improve pilot-monitoring skills. "We are hoping that if we have motivated airline managers to act and have provided them with enough practical solutions, we can move the industry monitoring needle in a positive direction," said Steve Dempsey, co-lead of APM and a pilot for Delta Air Lines.
