Boston schools to offer free breakfasts, lunches to all students

In the previous school year, Boston public schools began serving free breakfasts to all students -- regardless of income -- and this year officials are launching a universal, free lunch program as well. "This takes the burden of proof off our low-income families and allows all children, regardless of income, to know healthy meals are waiting for them at school every day," Mayor Thomas M. Menino said.
