Bulgari requests permission to re-enter India under new rules

Bulgari has submitted a proposal to open single-brand stores in India under foreign ownership rules that would let the single-brand Italian luxury goods retailers own 100% of its operations. Bulgari exited India in 2011 after ending a seven-year partnership with Lifestyle Tradelinks India; the retailer may have a new partner this time around, although it plans to retain full control over the operations, according to sources.
