Calif. tomato growers reach out to Canadian bloggers

California's tomato growers ship about 53,000 metric tons of the fruit to Canada annually and they're looking to increase export levels, said Chris Zanobini, president of Sacramento-based California Tomato Farmers. The group recently shipped boxes of the product to five Canadian bloggers, who reviewed tomatoes and created recipes using the produce.
