Canadian universities focus on improving mental-health services

Canadian universities are taking steps to offer mental-health services to students, including awareness campaigns, counseling services and peer-support groups. "What we're seeing now is that universities are trying to be much more preventative to the extent they can -- heightening awareness about stigma, heightening awareness of when there's a problem," said Gordon Flett, a psychology professor at York University.
