Commentary: ACA customers will need help sorting out complex health insurance questions

Helping consumers find appropriate health insurance under the Affordable Care Act will be a challenging prospect for the navigators, brokers and other experts charged with the task, writes Michelle Andrews. Each individual or family will bring their own complexities to the table as they seek affordable coverage, decide whether to continue their employer-provided coverage or purchase insurance on the exchange, and determine whether they qualify for subsidies. "This will be a steep learning curve," said Sabrina Corlette of Georgetown University's Center on Health Insurance Reforms.
