Commodities top other markets for third month

Market anxiety over yet another Western military action in the Middle East helped boost commodity prices in August, marking the third straight month that commodities have outperformed bonds, stocks and the U.S. dollar, as measured by comparable indexes. "There is definitely a stealth recovery going on in commodities. Bonds are getting killed, and stocks stopped going up as a result of the repricing going on in bonds," said James Paulsen, chief investment strategist at Wells Capital Management.
