Nokia's developer challenge falls in Microsoft's lap

Microsoft has inherited Nokia's former challenge of gaining developers to write for the Windows Phone platform. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer says he is addressing the dearth of Windows Phone applications by driving volume, which will naturally attract developers, and by staking development of some holdouts. In the meantime, King.com, Supercell and Mojang continue to object to writing for Windows Phone because of the still small user base.
