Officials in N.H. approve helicopter school despite opposition

Seacoast Helicopters has gained approval from the Pease Development Authority to begin operating at Portsmouth International Airport in Pease, N.H. Some residents had expressed concerns that the school could hurt local wildlife, decrease quality of life in the region and lead to helicopter crashes. The school plans to operate between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m. and will offer additional services such as aerial photography and scenic tours.
