Peru and Israel work to create 6 pomegranate varieties

Peru's National Agrarian Innovation Institute has partnered with Israeli companies to develop six varieties of pomegranate to replace Wonderful, the country's most-produced variety. The new pomegranates, which are expected in February, should alleviate Peru's issues with water demand and soil requirements.
