World's fastest magnetic train tested in Japan

Central Japan Railway Co. has completed a successful test run of its new magnetic levitation, or maglev train, sending reporters on a 26.6-mile trip taking just nine minutes at a speed of more than 300 mph. The L0 (L Zero) train will link Tokyo and Osaka and is expected to cost $90 billion by the time it's finished in 2045.
