S.D. lawmakers consider direct-to-consumer shipping bill

South Dakota lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow direct-to-consumer shipping of wines from out-of-state wineries, limited to 12 cases per year. The Alcohol Distribution and Shipping committee is still firming up details regarding shipping taxes and licensing, and it expects to continue developing the proposal into next month.
