Scientists unveil detailed maternal, paternal DNA code

Scientists have developed an unprecedented interpretation of the separate genetic contributions made by each of an individual's parents by identifying the order of almost every letter in J. Craig Venter's DNA code. Researchers said that it may not be long before regular people can have their DNA codes sequenced and that the findings indicate there are five times as many differences between individuals' DNA as was previously thought.
