Federal government could prove to be treasure trove of IT jobs

Retiring baby boomers are expected to open more than 11,500 IT jobs with the federal government during the next three years, according to a study released by the Partnership for Public Service. For tech job seekers, the openings will include positions in systems analysis, security, application software, data management and network services.
