Macerich gets $116 million by selling 75% stake in Colorado mall

Pressing ahead with its strategy of deleveraging by selling partial-ownership stakes in some of its malls, Macerich Co. got $116 million for selling 75% ownership of the 1.4 million-square-foot FlatIron Crossing regional mall in Broomfield, Colo. GI Partners of Menlo Park, Calif., and London was the buyer.
