Pennsylvania's August casino revenue surges 20%

The new Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh boosted Pennsylvania's August casino revenue nearly 20% compared with revenue in the same month in 2008. The state's Gaming Control Board said casino revenue last month totaled $186.9 million. Five of the state's nine casinos reported a decline in revenue. During its first month in operation, Rivers Casino took in $16.2 million in revenue, according to the state.
