Schumer says Johnson next in line to head Senate banking panel

Sen. Chuck Schumer said he expected Sen. Tim Johnson, D-S.D., to replace Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., as chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee if Dodd decides to take over the Health committee. "Sen. Johnson is next in line, he's a very capable thoughtful independent man and will work with the whole committee," Schumer said.
