Study: Late-night snacking might lead to faster weight gain

A study of mice showed that those fed a high-fat diet during their normal sleeping hours gained more weight than those fed the same diet during their normal wakeful hours even as both groups consumed the same amount of calories and used the same amount of energy. The findings suggest that the mice's metabolism might be affected by their internal clocks.
