Year-round schools show mixed results

Some educators say there is little evidence that year-round schools have led to higher student test scores, but they also say the schedule prevents summer learning loss. Education Secretary Arne Duncan supports the idea of year-round schools. "I think our school day is too short. I think our school week is too short. I think our school year is too short," he said.
