Experts warn of a new recession as consumer confidence falls

New evidence suggests the U.S. economy could be entering a recession. Consumer confidence fell to its lowest point in roughly two years in August, while some state economies are showing signs of contracting. Meanwhile, the world's developed economies are increasingly on the verge of "the recessionary dividing point," Pimco fund manager Bill Gross warned.
