Facebook takes action to stamp out fraudulent "likes"

Brands could see their Facebook "like" count decline as the social network rolls out a tool intended to eradicate fake "likes." Fewer than 1% of all "likes" are created by malware or fake accounts, officials said, so the cleanup should make it easier for brands to get an accurate impression of the impact of their social campaigns.
