Senokot outdoor campaign airs out another private subject

A Senokot outdoor display shows a man straining to lift a giant pill container, with copy frankly discussing the problem of constipation associated with taking prescription medication. It's one of the once-taboo topics now openly aired by ads without fear of backlash. A contest for the brand promises that if contestants "enter today" they "win tomorrow," referencing the product promise. "We continue to talk about the Senokot brand working gently and working overnight, but we serve it up differently," says Charlene Bailey, director of product management for Senekot's Purdue Products.
