A4A’s Calio: More passengers to benefit from expansion of TSA’s PreCheck program

Good news for fliers who want to get through security screening lines faster: The Transportation Security Administration will expand the PreCheck program to 60 more airports by the end of the year. In the coming weeks, the TSA will also increase the number of lines at the 40 airports that already offer the expedited screening program. Airlines for America President and CEO Nicholas Calio commended the TSA for advancing risk-based security measures that both improve security and make travel more convenient. Calio said the expansion "will greatly improve the overall travel experience by enabling more passengers to benefit from expedited screening."
