Most companies -- even those that tout the benefits of supply chain visibility -- are uninformed about the activities of their suppliers' suppliers, writes Jennifer Baljko. "There's growing recognition that companies will be hit by a major supply disruption at some point in time," said Jon Bovit, chief marketing officer of Resilinc. "The big questions executives are asking themselves are 'Do we know where our risk lies and do we know how to mitigate it?' "
