BIM helps advance long-stalled military-hospital project in Ga.

Construction of the Army Corps of Engineers' Martin Army Community Hospital in Fort Benning, Ga., stalled due to legal issues in 2010 but was back on track in 2011 after Turner Construction's project team integrated nearly all of the design, construction and even prefabrication details into a master building information model. The $385 million project is slated for completion by November 2014.
