"Blue" and green roof technologies to be added to NYC building

"Blue" and green roof technologies will be installed on the roof of the Osborne Association building in the Bronx, New York City, to help reduce stormwater runoff. The "blue" components of the roof will employ trays and rock beds to capture stormwater, while the green aspects will consist of plants and soil to reduce runoff by nearly one-third. The project was done through a partnership with the city's Green Infrastructure Grant Program.
