Boeing confident U.S. spy scandal won't hurt Brazil deal

Boeing is confident that its F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jet has a good chance of being chosen by Brazil, despite revelations that the National Security Agency spied on top Brazilian leaders. "I think the fighter decision will be made on its own merits," Dennis Muilenburg, president and chief executive of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, told the Reuters Aerospace and Defense Summit in Washington.
