CEA, manufacturers look to high-resolution audio, beyond the CD

High-resolution audio will be emphasized at the 2014 International CES, and the Consumer Electronics Association has enlisted AudioQuest, iRiver and Sony Electronics, along with the Universal and Warner music labels, to promote the technology. "Recent market trends and research indicates that consumers are poised to embrace high-resolution audio, creating tremendous new market opportunities," CEA President and CEO Gary Shapiro said.
