Congressman John Lewis will be 2013 NCSS Annual Conference closing speaker

Civil Rights veteran and U.S. Representative John Lewis will serve as the closing keynote speaker at the NCSS Annual Conference. Lewis, veteran of the Freedom Rides, the 1963 March on Washington, and "Bloody Sunday" in 1965 in Selma, Ala., is eager to reach a new generation of Americans with the story of his role in the Civil Rights Movement through his autobiographical three-volume, nonfiction, graphic book project, "March."
