Google to introduce KitKat Android

Google's next mobile operating system, expected to debut in October, will be called KitKat Android, marking the tech giant's first use of a candy brand for a system name. "Google's choice to name their next Android platform release Kit Kat brings together two well-known icons from pop culture and technology and gives the classic jingle of 'Gimme a Break' a whole new meaning in the tech world," said Jennifer Podhajsky, vice president of U.S. chocolate for Hershey, which licenses the Nestle-owned Kit Kat brand in the U.S.
