Google's product-listing ads slowly gain steam

Click-thru rates on Google's product-listing advertisements improved from 1% in January 2012 to 1.66% in July of this year, according to a Marin Software study. The ads feature product information, including a photo and price. The study also found that PLAs accounted for 2.21% of search-ad clicks in July, almost double the year-earlier rate.
