Interior secretary says energy firms not rushing to drill in Arctic in 2014

Energy producers aren't rushing to drill off the coast of Alaska in 2014, Interior Secretary Sally Jewell said. Royal Dutch Shell, which in its Arctic 2012 exploration program encountered several equipment setbacks, suspended exploration activities earlier this year. "I have not heard from any companies an urgency to go forward until they're ready and they are confident they can do it in a safe and responsible way," Jewell said.
