Maine receives $1.1 million for new GA airport

U.S. Rep. Chellie Pingree, D-Maine, announced that the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority in Brunswick, Maine, has received $1.1 million in federal funds to turn a former Navy Air Operations Center into a general aviation airport. The grant will be used to build a GA facility with space for a passenger terminal and a fixed-base operator.
