Minn. survey identifies factors affecting patient experience

Data from a statewide survey showed most Minnesota residents gave physicians a mean score of 9 out of 10 in communication, while the number of patients giving similar scores to individual clinics ranged from 66% to 98%. However, only 60% of respondents provided high scores for health care access. Many said they found it difficult to schedule appointments when needed, while others reported waiting for more than 15 minutes before seeing a doctor on a scheduled visit.
