Prepaid flier cards take off in Australia

Qantas and Virgin Australia both use travel money cards. which fliers can load and then transfer into a "virtual" wallet of one or more foreign currencies. David Flynn, editor of Australian Business Traveler, says he prefers the Qantas Cash over the Virgin Global Wallet because it offers eight overseas currencies and there is no fee to load money on the card; Virgin's Global Wallet has only four foreign currencies and charges a $1 load fee.
