U.S. Hispanic market offers 50M-case wine potential

Wineries could sell an additional 50 million cases over the next 20 years if they are able to tap into the Hispanic market, according to a new Rabobank report. Studies are being conducted in the U.S. to gauge Hispanic interest and opinions on wine, but wine marketers in France have already begun efforts to connect with the market through a recently launched "Viva Bordeaux" campaign by the Bordeaux Wine Council, which features Miami celebrity chef Doreen Colondres' recipes paired with Bordeaux wines.
