Why a nice boss can be toxic for your career

Having a nice manager might seem great, but it can be a problem if your boss is timid or too content with the status quo, Greg McKeown writes. "The pain is inflicted slowly, drip by drip. On any given day an employee can say, 'Well, it's not so bad.' They are, after all, nice. But the cumulative effect on your career can be dramatic," he writes.
