Microsoft to help design high-tech school

Microsoft Corp. announced yesterday it will work with the Philadelphia School District to help plan a $46 million high school of the future. Administrators hope the school, to open by 2006 at the district's expense, will incorporate computer technology throughout, with online textbooks, laptops for teachers and an automated cafeteria supply ordering system.
