Detroit strike drags on as schools open

To allow schools to open on time today, Detroit Public Schools officials have assigned 250 administrators to augment parent volunteers, nonstriking teachers and other staff in district classrooms. Some parents, concerned there won't be enough supervision, plan to keep their children home.
