Judge: Marriage issue shouldn't be resolved by constitutional changes

Harvie Wilkinson III, while no supporter of full marriage rights, nevertheless believes it's wrong to decide the issue by constitutional amendment, rather than legislation. "To use the Constitution for prescriptions of policy is to shackle future generations that should have the same right as ours to enact policies of their own," he writes.
