Pfizer succeeds in getting doctors to switch to higher Lipitor doses

According to latest figures, Pfizer's recent effort to get physicians to switch patients on Lipitor to a more expensive dosage appears to be working. The firm had its sales representatives convince doctors the higher doses were more effective than generic statins, particularly in reducing repeats of strokes in those patients.
