Antarctic polar research station built to produce zero emissions

A research station that Belgium is building in the Antarctic will be the region's first-ever zero-emission polar station, designed to have minimal impact on the climate changes that its scientists will be studying. The Princess Elisabeth station will be powered by solar panels and wind turbines, and all waste from the station will be recycled.
