BET energizes its entertainment division

BET, which launched five new shows this summer and is planning to produce more original programming in the future, made a number of top personnel moves to beef up its entertainment division. The 17-year-old channel hired Brett King, formerly of the WB, to head up scripted programming and promoted Robyn Lattaker-Johnson to oversee new reality shows.
