House, Senate grapple with different energy bills

The House and Senate have pushed through separate energy bills, but the two bills don't match, and ironing out their differences may be a stumbling block. The Senate bill raises the average vehicle fuel efficiency to 35 miles a gallon, which did not fly in the House, and the House voted for a renewable energy standard for utilities, but the Senate failed to approve that.
