Investors want new director to examine Bear Stearns hedge failure

Investors in two Bear Stearns hedge funds that collapsed earlier this summer have asked a bankruptcy court to replace the company as the funds' director. In notices filed Tuesday, investors said they wanted the court to appoint FTI Capital Advisors to the position, in hopes that the company will be able to determine what went wrong.
